Katie Laine is a young, vibrant, unique folk/alternative project that features quirky originals that cater to a wide array of audiences. Dabbling in styles from folk to reggae and soul, this young group's versitile sound makes it both a fun and interesting listen. It features Katie Laine on vocals, guitar and loop pedal, JD Speelman on upright and electric bass, and Sam Malowany on drums. This group met at Macewan Univerity's jazz and contemporary music program and has been jamming sweet tunes ever since.
